Is MediaSaver free to use?

Yes! MediaSaver is 100% free and always will be. We do not require any subscription, registration, or installation. We are supported by advertisements.

Why do I get a "Tweet Not Found" error?

This is the most common question. It usually happens for three reasons:

  • Private Account: The user has a "Lock Icon" (🔒) on their profile. We cannot access private tweets due to privacy rules.
  • Sensitive Content: The video is flagged as "Adult" or "Sensitive" by X. Our system may filter these out.
  • Deleted Tweet: The user deleted the post just before you tried to download it.

Where are the videos saved on my phone?

It depends on your operating system:

  • Android: Files are saved in your "Downloads" folder or directly in your Gallery under "Videos".
  • iPhone (iOS): Videos are saved in the "Files" app inside the "Downloads" folder. You need to "Save to Video" manually to see them in Photos. (See our Guide for details).
  • PC/Mac: They are saved in your browser's default "Downloads" folder (Ctrl+J to check).

Is it safe? Do you track me?

Yes, it is completely safe.

  • We do not require you to log in to your X account.
  • We do not keep logs of your download history.
  • All downloads are processed directly from X servers to your device via an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

Can I download GIFs?

Absolutely! X (Twitter) actually stores GIFs as small video files (MP4). When you download a GIF with MediaSaver, we save it as an MP4 video so you can easily share it on WhatsApp or Instagram.
